UK GVT announced the publication of the Digital markets, competition and consumers act 2024 (CMA consumer enforcement rules) regulations 2025 (StIn 2025/267).

Overview of Regulations
Clarify interpretation of relevant terms and establish that rules apply to CMA investigations or enforcement actions under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (c.13) relating to infringements of consumer law.
Outlines procedures for a respondent to submit representations in enforcement action.
Requires CMA set a time limit for responding to requirement to substantiate a claim; CMA may determine claim is inaccurate if evidence not provided in that time.
Sets out documents or information CMA may withhold from a respondent that is inspecting its file, permits CMA to make docs/info available in hard copy, electronically.
