  • On Apr. 4, 2025, SWE MoJ informed of further details on the assignment given to Police Authority in collaboration with the Swedish Digital Governance Agency (Digg) re e-IDs.

On Mar. 31, SWE MoJ said Police Authority assigned to design e-IDs.

  • Police Authority must inform the government offices on an ongoing basis about how the work is progressing and report on assignment by Nov. 2, 2026 at the latest.
