BEL CB issued circular NBB_2024_09 to financial institutions on acquisitions, increases, reductions and transfers of qualifying holdings, and the relevant reporting templates.
Purpose
Update of circular NBB_2017_23 on the occasional and periodic reporting obligations of financial institutions to the supervisory authority in relation to qualifying holdings.
Remind financial institutions of the statutory and regulatory reporting requirements re the composition of their capital and to inform them of the digitization of the forms.
Available is the Occasional Disclosure Form in Word version, used until Sep. 30, 2024, and pdf version from Oct. 1, 2024; and the Annual Disclosure Form in Word and pdf.
Effectiveness
This circular repeals and replaces circular NBB_2017_23 with immediate effect.
With the exception of the old forms which remain applicable until Sep. 30, 2024.
