ICE FEU issued circular 25/036 Introduction of additional equity derivatives contracts on introduction of additional standard Single Stock Options, and Single Stock Futures.
Summary
On and from May 19, 2025, the standard Single Stock Options (SSOs) and Single Stock Futures (SSFs) will be made available for trading subject to regulatory approval.
Standard SSOs will be available on Central Limit Order Book and ICE Block under Contract Rules Sections IIIII and JJJJJ (SSOs) and Sections OOOOO and PPPPP (Equity Shares Contracts) of the ICE Futures Europe Regulations on specified company shares.
Details provided on minimum volume threshold for Block Trades in new SSOs, SSFs.
SSFs will be available on ICE Block under the terms of Contract Rules Sections QQQQQ and RRRRR of the ICE Futures Europe Regulations on specified company shares.
Members are invited to apply for liquidity provider positions in the new SSOs.
UK Stamp Duty/SDRT, reliefs described in cir 14/140 of Oct. 29, 2014 for members recognized as Options Intermediaries apply to delivery of company shares from SSOs.
US persons are not currently permitted to engage in transactions in SSFs.
The SSOs will be Eligible Options (as referred to in ICE Future Europe Cir 14/138, of Oct. 27, 2014) in respect of the transaction of business with specified US entities.
