Amended COL LEG 7-1101-2.1 on claims for benefits, registration and filing claims.
To establish the validity of an initial, additional, or reopened claim, the division may require claimant to provide documentation or other evidence to establish their identity.
Failure to provide such information may result in disallowance of benefits.
Such information must be provided by means prescribed by the division director.
On Feb. 25, 2025, COL LEG reported upcoming hearing on employment security rule.
Hearing, on Mar. 25, 2025, is in regard to making permanent the emergency rule establishing identity verification as a requirement for unemployment insurance claims.
