On Sep. 20, SBA made federal disaster aid available in OKL counties.
SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Oklahoma small businesses impacted by reduced revenues due to drought that began Sep. 10.
Eligibility
Primary counties noted are Garfield and Noble, with neighboring counties of Alfalfa, Grant, Kay, Kingfisher, Logan, Major, Osage, Pawnee and Payne in Oklahoma.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits qualify for EIDLs of up to $2 million.
EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by disaster victims had the drought disaster not occurred.
Eligibility for these loans is based on financial impact of the drought disaster only.
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply for economic injury is May 16, 2025.
