BEL PRL adopted bill amending article 3ter, first paragraph, of Royal Decree 50 of Oct. 24, 1967 on retirement, survivor's pension for employees, in version 55K3845/001.
Purpose
To improve the pension situation of arts workers, the article provides for the possibility of recognizing non-compensable days in unemployment regulations as working days.
Thus, non-compensable days will be considered in the employee's pension calculation.
This also means that they can be considered to give rise to the right to an early retirement, guaranteed minimum pension and minimum entitlement per year of career.
Effectiveness
The adopted bill is submitted for royal assent; planned application on Jan. 1, 2025.
