PRA disclosed 2023 list of UK headquartered global systemically important institutions (G-SIIs), their sub-categories, applicable scores and respective G-SII buffers.
Follows UK PRA Nov. 2023 issued O-SIIs list 2023, O-SIIs buffer rates, see #192018.
2023 UK G-SIIs
HSBC Holdings Plc has sub-category of 3, score of 368, G-SII buffer rate of 2%.
Barclays Plc has a sub-category of 2, score of 259 and a G-SII buffer rate of 1.5%.
Standard Chartered Plc has sub-category of 1, score of 140 and G-SII buffer rate 1%.
Effectiveness
Buffers will apply from Jan. 1, 2025, G-SIIs list/sub-categories will be updated yearly.
