On Aug. 7, SBA made disaster aid available for small businesses.
SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Oklahoma small businesses to offset losses due to drought in the State beginning Jun. 11, 2024.
Eligibility
EIDLs available in primary counties of Caddo, Kiowa and Washita; and neighboring Beckham, Blaine, Canadian, Comanche, Custer, Grady, Greer, Jackson and Tillman.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for these federal EIDLs.
Loans of up to $2 million are available to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the victims had the disaster not occurred.
Eligibility for these loans is based on the financial impact of the disaster only and not on any actual property damage; interest is 4% for business; 3.25% for nonprofits.
Application Deadline
Completed EIDL applications must be submitted to SBA by Apr. 7, 2025.
