On Sep. 22, DTCC DR issued notes on enhanced transmission schedule.
DTCC DR issued notice on clarifications for enhanced transmission schedule for networking account conversion/update and transfer/acknowledgment files.
This notice supplements the Important Notice a9769 and provides additional guidance and clarification regarding the expanded transmission schedule, see #298924.
Notice Details
Autoroute 1TRANS header record and client’s remote output file name are separate.
The 1TRANS Header Record is contained within the Autoroute output file and includes the existing Application’s Multi-Cycle Counter field (Position 55-56).
Under the expanded multi-cycle schedule, this field will contain the applicable cycle number so clients can identify the output cycle associated with each transmission.
The Autoroute remote file name is the name of the file delivered to the client’s receiving system for processing; the file also false the 1TRANS header record.
If current remote file name does not contain a unique identifier, multiple files received during the same processing day may not be distinguishable by file name alone.
To uniquely distinguish each multi-cycle file, clients are encouraged to update their remote file naming convention to include either the cycle number or a timestamp.
There will be no changes to the existing N00 application header as part of this release.
The new multi-cycle transmission schedule will result in multiple output cycles.
