On Oct. 1, IND SEBI issued notice on displaying investor awareness messages.
IND SEBI required all stock brokers to prominently display investor awareness messages on their websites and trading apps, in the manner prescribed.
This is part of Project Jagrook, IND SEBI's nationwide investor awareness initiative; the investor awareness messages are for the benefit, safety, and education of investors.

Display Message Timelines
From Oct. 5, 2026 to Oct. 31, 2026, all stock brokers shall display the investor awareness messages shared by IND SEBI and the risk disclosures on their websites.
In that same timeframe, stock brokers may display the same message on their trading apps, if any, on a voluntary basis; display of risk disclosures shall be optional.
From Nov. 1, 2026 onwards, stock brokers shall display the specified investor awareness messages on the landing page of their websites.
They shall also mandatorily display the specified awareness message and risk disclosures, on alternate days, on their trading apps, if any.
Actions Taken
All stock exchanges and depositories must disseminate this information to their members, and make necessary amendments to the relevant bye-laws, rules and regulations.
Oct. 5, 2026 IND NSD Implementation Details
On Oct. 5, 2026, IND NSD issued a circular passing on IND SEBI’s Oct. 1, 2026 circular above on the display of investor awareness messages under Project Jagrook.
The circular also sets out implementation details effective Nov. 1, 2026.
These include a fixed weekly schedule from Nov. 1, 2026, with investor awareness messages on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and risk disclosure messages on the remaining days, until further notice.
Plus, messages must be displayed in a bilingual format (Hindi-English).
Notice was given that the investor awareness message under Project Jagrook will be communicated separately and may be revised weekly, as advised from time to time.
