CAL LEG enacted bill AB-2299 to amend the Labor Code relating to employment.
The bill amends CAL LEG 2-3-5-1102.8 on political affiliations in the CAL labor code.
Bill Provisions
Bill requires the Labor Commissioner to develop a model list of employees’ rights and responsibilities re: whistleblower laws, to be used and displayed by CA employers.
Employer shall prominently display list of employees’ rights under the whistleblower laws, and in doing so shall be deemed in compliance with the posting requirements.
