Notified EBA of its intention to comply with the EBA Guidelines EBA/GL/2024/03.
Note implements them, so they take value of supervisory guidelines as illustrated in Communication on methods via which complies with ESAs guides, recommendations.
Addressed to groups of investment firms defined in ITA CB Regulation on supervision of SIMs, Part One, Title I, Chapter 2, Section I, paragraph 2.
Intermediaries must make every effort to comply with them, per art 16 of EBA Reg.
Effectiveness
The guidelines apply from Jan. 1, 2025.
