On May 15, TX INS issued data call for property written premiums.
TX INS issued Bulletin B-0004-25, data call to companies writing commercial/business property insurance for a 2024 property direct written premium in TX catastrophe area.
The data call applies to the reporting period from Jan. 1, 2024 to Dec. 31, 2024.
Data Call Request
Data call necessary to supplement TX INS’s statistical data and enable TX windstorm insurance association (TWIA) to calculate participation shares for assessments.
The data obtained in data call may also be used in 2026 before 2025 data is available.
Applies to firms reporting 2024 TX commercial property or businessowners statistical data to TX INS’s commercial lines statistical agent/Insurance services office Inc. (ISO).
Data call also applies to farm mutual insurance companies acting as fronting insurers.
Consultation
Responses to the data call are due no later than Jun. 16, 2025.
