MLY Tax said it will launch tax compliance operation (Op Kosmo) in the Klang Valley, several locations in Peninsular Malaysia for five days from Jan. 13 to Jan. 17, 2025.
Aim to increase the level of tax compliance more effectively among the community.
Op Kosmo Overview
Main activities include tax operations; namely audit; collection; legal, tax education.
This is the first-time joint operations with the large taxpayer branch, the special industry branch, the multinational tax branch, and the Klang Valley legal branch.
Intended to address the issue of aggressive tax planning, identify the existence of tax evasion risks, detect planned tax leakage, provide awareness through tax education.
Plus examine aspect of inter-company loans to avoid double deductions in tax claims.
