  • Amends Utah consumer sales practices act UTA LEG 13-11-4.1 (solicitation of financial info), UTA LEG 13-11-21 (class action settlements); and enacts UTA LEG 13-11-21.1.

  • Clarifies provisions relating to targeted solicitations involving financial information.
  • Courts must give an enforcing authority 60-day notice before hearings that pertain to class action settlements and 60 days for said authority to object to settlement offers.
