Bill Provisions
Max number of weekly benefits claimant may be eligible in benefit year depends on average of 3 most recently published state seasonally adjusted unemployment rates.
For the preceding month in which the claimant files his first claim for benefits.
For unemployment compensation claims submitted, max duration of benefits available to claimant is based upon average unemployment rate determined by administrator.

Biannually, the Louisiana workforce commission shall publish on its website the maximum number of weekly benefits a claimant may be eligible for in a benefit year.
Individual is not eligible for extended benefits for any week if administrator determines that individual is no longer enrolled or participating in the training program.
