FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel, commissioners Geoffrey Starks, Anna Gomez issued statements congratulating commissioner Brendan Carr on selection as next FCC chair.
Commissioner Remarks
Rosenworcel stressed the importance of the agency's responsibility for communications technology, which is vital for everything in modern civic and commercial life.
Commissioner Starks remarked he worked together with Brendan Carr on numerous bipartisan priorities, including national security, connectivity, media policy.
Starks stated that Carr is a dedicated public servant and a recognized leader.
Gomez looked forward to continuing work with him to ensure they faithfully implement the Communications act and other Congressional mandates to serve the public.
