On Dec. 4, HUN CB issued decree on obligations for data submissions.
HUN CB issued Decree 54/2024 (XII. 3.) on data provision obligations/submission to the central bank information system, primarily for HUN CB to perform its basic tasks.
Summary
Covers information to be supplied and scope of those obliged to provide data services (data providers), as well as the frequency, method and deadline for data provision.
These are listed in Annex 1 and include loans, including green loans, reporting on foreign credit institutions, digital accounts, securities, foreign exchange market, etc.
Technical aids for data services provision to be issued at same time as entry into force.
When providing data to the HUN CB information system, Decree 54/2021. (XI. 23.) to apply applies prior to Jan. 1, 2025 (with some exceptions) when it will be repealed.
Effectiveness
Decree 54/2024 (XII. 3.) will come into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
