SBA offered disaster assistance to California businesses and residents affected by the Park (#221110) and Borel (#220850) fires that occurred Jul. 24, to Aug. 26, 2024.
Relief Provided
Businesses of all sizes and private nonprofits may borrow up to $2mn to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, equipment, inventory, business assets.
For small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits, SBA offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs).
EIDLs are intended to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster.
Further, EIDLs are available regardless of whether business suffered property damage.
