Highlights
Taxpayers not included in the electronic invoicing regime, as well as electronic issuers, will have these services for their declaration for the period 06/2024 onwards.
All NO CEDE taxpayers will have the online form 2178 with pre-filled data to complete.
This pre-load updated data on VAT purchases, withholdings made by electronic issuers.
Taxpayers included in the electronic invoicing regime will have the amounts of their Sales and VAT Sales pre-loaded, while those not included in regime must enter them.
This form allows online payment of Caja de Profesionales stamp in case of not having an adhesion contract or electronic wallet, automatically generating the Payment Slips.
Effectiveness
The deadline for filing tax return 2178 for 06/2024 period is until Oct. 25, 2024.
Nov. 2024 URY Tax Final Deadline
On Nov. 28, 2024, URY Tax reported that deadline for remaining VAT taxpayers to join the Electronic Invoicing regime is Dec. 31, 2024, representing the final phase.
URY Tax informed that as of Jan. 1, 2025, all VAT taxpayers will be electronic issuers.
Including Minimum VAT taxpayers; there are specific exceptions for those who only carry out agricultural activities and obtain income of less than 4 million UI in the year.
Also those eclusively in construction of real estate; non-resident income tax payers.
