Changes to VAT Rules
Agricultural goods: from Jan. 1, 2025, the VAT rate for the supply of certain agricultural goods, including animal feed, seeds, will increase from 9% to 21% VAT.
Place of service for virtual services: from Jan. 1, 2025, providers of virtual cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational or entertainment services taxed in country where customer lives / is established - VAT rules of that country apply.
Amendment to supplementary margin scheme: resellers (traders) who have purchased antiques, art or collector's items at a reduced rate, imported them or acquired them intra-Community can no longer apply margin scheme when selling these goods.
VAT on service costs: in relation landlord charges for service costs in certain cases.
Changes to the small business scheme (KOR): EU-KOR will be introduced.
With the EU-KOR, a VAT exemption can be obtained for small businesses for 1 or more EU countries where business is undertaken from Jan. 1, 2025.
