BRZ CB published instruction 179 to consolidate, update procedures for filing combined balance sheet of the cooperative system, referred to in circular no. 3,669 of 2013.
Reporting Requirement Highlights
Cooperative banks, credit confederations and central credit cooperatives must report to BRZ CB the combined balance sheet of Cooperative System using the listed forms.
The filings must comply with the instructions in annex attached to instruction 179.
Filings are quarterly, until last business day of month following respective base date.
The information necessary to prepare of requisite forms is available on BRZ CB website at the electronic address provided in instruction 179; revoked numerous circulars.
Effectiveness
Instruction 179 enters into force on Dec. 1, 2021.
Aug. 7, 2024 BRZ CB Instructions, Layout Update
On Aug. 7, 2024, BRZ CB published Instruction 503 to amend Instruction 179 of 2021.
Updated completion instructions and layout for the combined balance sheet of the cooperative system; codes 4413, 4423, and 4433 will come into force as of Jan. 2025.
The preparation of documents must comply with accounting standards for institutions.
Rules defined in Instructions 426, 427, 428, 429, 430, 431, 432, 433, of Dec. 1, 2023.
The annex of Instruction 179 shall come into force as of the base date of Jan. 2025.
Instruction 503 shall come into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
