Instead, the repeal of the rules will only be to remove obsolete, non-operational rules.
Effective Jan. 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act provisions for determining out-of-network provider reimbursement and prevention of enrollee balance billing protects all groups.

A hearing on the proposed repeals will be held on Sep. 25, 2024, from 1:30 - 2:00pm.
Comments on the proposal must be submitted on or before 5:00pm on Oct. 2, 2024.
