ITA CB issued guide and contracts for TARGET services in context of TARGET-ITA CB.
ECB Guideline 2012/27, made it necessary to define new contracts for participation of ITA financial entities in Eurosystem market infrastructures, new guide for participants.
Overview
New negotiation system consists of 2 contracts that from Nov. 21 will replace those in force: contract for participation in TARGET-ITA CB addressed to credit institutions.
Contract for participation in TARGET-ITA CB as ancillary system, for those systems.
In addition, Guide for TARGET-ITA CB participants integrates contractual regulations with description of functioning and operating procedures of the TARGET services.
It replaces current Guide TARGET2-ITA CB settlement system and HAM account.
Participants in TARGET-ITA CB invited to read mentioned documents and digitally sign, send via PEC to competent branch contract for participation in TARGET-ITA CB.
Either in its version for credit institutions or for ancillary systems as case may be; the guide does not need signing and sending.
PEC subject must be: Signing of contracts for participation in TARGET-ITA CB.
Effectiveness
The signed contracts must be sent by Sep. 30, 2022.
Nov. 2023 Registration Form
On Nov. 7, 2023, ITA CB issued TARGET-ITA CB registration form, no further details.
Nov. 2024 Contract
On Nov. 14, 2024, ITA CB issued template contract TARGET-ITA CB ancillary systems.
It also issued guide for participants effective Dec. 1, 2024 and contract to participate.
