Main Points
Guidelines determine the way to implement art 8, paras 1, 4 of EU Reg 2019/2033.
With the aim of allowing groups of investment firms to use the group capital test or to have a capital amount, lower than the amount calculated on the basis of art 8, para 3.
Effectiveness
The guidelines will begin to be applied on Jan. 1, 2025.
