On Nov. 3, TUR CMP informed of fines' lower threshold increase.
TUR CMP issued communiqué 2023/1 on the increase of the lower threshold for administrative fines of art 16 para 1 of the Act 4054 on the protection of competition.
Fines' lower threshold is determined at 105,688 TL; valid from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2023.
Jan. 2024 New Threshold
On Jan. 15, 2024, TUR CMP issued communiqué 2024/1 on the increase of the lower threshold for administrative fines specified in paragraph 1, article 16 of the Act 4054.
Amount determined as 167,473 TL; valid from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2024 based on the re-valuation rate of 58.46% specified in the Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué 554.
Which was published in the Official Gazette dated Nov. 25, 2023 and numbered 32380.
The new lower threshold for fines enter into force on Jan. 1, 2024.
Dec. 2024 New Threshold
On Dec. 7, 2024, TUR GVT issued communiqué 2025/1 on the increase of the lower threshold for administrative fines specified in para 1, art 16 of the Act 4054.
Determined as TL 241,043 TL based on the revaluation rate of 43.93% for 2024 determined in the Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué 574 (OG 32735, 2024).
The new lower threshold will be valid from Jan. 1, 2025 to Dec. 31, 2025.
