On Nov. 12, FR ACPR issued systemically important institution lists.
FR ACPR published list of global systemically important institutions (G-SIBs) for the 2019 financial year in accordance with the provisions of CMF article L511-41-1 A VI.
Together with list of other systemically importance institutions (O-SIIs) for the 2019 financial year in accordance with the provisions of CMF article L511-41-1 A VII.
On Dec. 1, 2021, FR ACPR issued list of G-SIBs for 2020 financial year in accordance with art L511-41-1 A VI of Monetary and Financial Code; the list contains 4 entities.
Belonging to both lists of EISm and of Other Entities of Systemic Importance (O-SIIs).
Per art 32 Decree of Nov. 3, 2014 on capital buffers for banking service providers and investment firms other than portfolio management companies, consolidated surcharge applying to group is limited and cannot exceed certain thresholds.
I.e. it will be the greatest between that imposed on G-SIBs (up to 3.5% maximum) and that imposed under O-SIIs (up to 2% maximum).
Also list of Other Systemically Important Institutions (O-SIIs) in financial year 2020.
The 7 entities belong to list of G-SIBs, list of O-SIIs, repeats what established in art 32 of decree; list based on list of G-SIIs by FSB in Nov. 2020 and Nov. 2021 (#122130).
Dec. 2023 Updated G-SIBs and O-SIIs
On Dec. 1, 2023, FR ACPR published list of other systemically important establishments (O-SIIs) for the 2023 financial year, based on data as of Dec. 31, 2022.
In accordance with provisions of art L511-41-1 A VII of Monetary and financial code.
Together with the list of global systemically important establishments (G-SIBs) for the 2023 financial year, in accordance with the provisions of Art. L511-41-1 A VI.
Dec. 2024 Updated G-SIBs and O-SIIs
On Dec. 3, 2024, FR ACPR issued list of global systemically important institutions (G-SIBs) and list of other systemically important institutions (O-SIIs) for the year 2024.
Lists include applicable rate for entities on Jan. 1, 2024, Jan. 1, 2025, Jan. 1, 2026.
