On Mar. 6, BEL GVT published decree on collective labor agreement.
BEL GVT published Royal Decree of Feb. 21, 2024 making mandatory the collective labor agreement of Jul. 3, 2023, concluded within the Joint Commission for banks, for the period 2023-2024.

Main Points
Extension of training efforts, confirmation of the individual right to 4 days in 2023 and 5 days training from 2024 provided for under chapter 12 of the Law of Oct. 3, 2022.
Recognition for 2023 and 2024 of a sector in difficulty where recruitment has largely stopped within the meaning of art 2, paras 2-3 of the Royal Decree of Feb. 19, 2013.
A specific training program will also be organized on themes including innovation and entrepreneurship, diversity, artificial intelligence, data literacy and disconnection.
Effectiveness
The agreement enters into force on Jan. 1, 2023 until Dec. 31, 2024.
However, the agreement's art 1, 10, 11 apply from Jan. 1, 2023 until Jun. 30, 2025.
