Proposal
Makes proposed amendments to the rules to define riskless transactions on options.
Introduces a new article in C-TMX 6-CPrearranged transactions and trade cancellation.
Riskless Transactions on options represent a certain type of contingent option trades.
In which an approved participant already agreed with customer to first acquire positions for their own account prior to executing pre-arranged transaction on option.
Also proposing to allow RTOs to trade in special trading session from 4:00 - 4:20pm.

Effectiveness
Comments proposed amendments must be submitted at the latest on May 29, 2024.
Nov. 2024 C-TMX Self-Certification
On Nov. 7, 2024, C-TMX self-certified and approved proposal, effective Dec. 2, 2024.
On the same day, CSA Que published C-TMX's self-certification of RTO amendments.
