On Oct. 30, ISR Justice postponed deadlines for 2023 reports.
ISR Justice issued a press release regarding postponement of the deadlines for submitting reports for 2023 in order to obtain a proper management permit for 2025.
Document dated Oct. 30, 2024, received from ISR Justice Oct. 31, summarized Nov. 5.
Background
In accordance with the provisions of Associations Law, 5740-1980 and Companies Law, 5759-1999, an association and a public benefit company are required to submit annual reports (financial report, verbal report, minutes of the audit committee and report of the general meeting) by Jun. 30 of the year following the end of the reporting period.
Deadline Extension
To make it easier for the associations and companies for the public benefit but have not yet been able to submit the reports and submit a request for a certificate of proper management, an extension is hereby granted for filing the reports until Dec. 1, 2024.
Part of the national response to the state of emergency due to the 'Iron Sword War'.
Extension also applies to associations and public benefit companies that have received a certificate of proper management for two years (for 2024-2025) that are obligated to submit reports for 2023, as a condition for continued validity of a certificate for 2025.
