Bill Provisions
Enrollee with a private health insurance carrier whose coverage has been terminated or not renewed may receive continued care with same provider or healthcare facility.
Under the enrollee's new health benefit plan at the in-network level under the enrollee's new health benefit plan for up to 90 days if certain conditions exist.
Transferring enrollee who is pregnant may continue to receive treatment through the completion of postpartum care, beginning on date of enrolle's first day as cover person
After applicable time period has lapsed, carrier may perform own utilization review.
Prohibited balance billing medical surprises, requires disclosure of prohibition where applicable to the healthcare provider; prohibits out-of-network balance billing.
