EPA proposed to add three sites and adding five sites to the national priority list (NPL).
Site Proposals
The Superfund program proposed three sites to the superfund national priorities list.
These sites are Afterthought Mine in Bella Vista, California, Gelman Sciences Inc, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Upper Columbia River, in Upper Columbia River, WA.
New Sites
Added the Lukachukai Mountains Mining District, the Lot 46 Valley Gardens TCE, Acme Steel Coke Plant, Exide Baton Rouge, and Former Exide Technologies Laureldale.

Dec. 2024 EPA Final Rule
On Dec. 13, 2024, EPA published final rule in federal register, effective Jan. 15, 2025.
Final rule added Upper Columbia River to the General Superfund section of the NPL.
