Key Provisions
Specified schedule of filing of Microfinance NGO Regulatory Council (MNRC) applications for renewal of certificates of accreditation, from Jan. 13 to Jan. 31, 2025.
MF-NGOs must ensure compliance with the reporting requirements and submit the required reports on or before Jun. 30 of each calendar year.
MNRC-accredited MF-NGOs that have yet to comply with the annual submission of reports, or have submitted incomplete reports, shall submit by Dec. 31, 2024.
Clarified that the sworn application form must be signed only by the president/CEO/
executive director and treasurer/CFO/finance director; provided simplified template.
Applicant MF-NGOs may opt for pre-screening by the MNRC secretariat.
The secretariat shall review the submissions, provide feedback, and direct the applicant MF-NGO to make any necessary revisions/additional submissions/corrections.
