CHL CB LBTR Operating Regulations


On Nov. 4, CHL CB modified national currency and dollars regulation.


  • CHL CB published Circular 3013-956 to modify operating regulations of LBTR system.
  • Highlights
  • Every participant in the LBTR System shall be subject to the specified tariff charges.
  • Monthly fixed for access will be $4,930,000, access to LBTR MN and USD System.
  • Fee for each ITF processed under normal operation conditions through SWIFT network is $1,330 and through contingency mechanisms arranged by CHL CB will be $5,250.
  • Fee for settlement of net results of the daily cycles of the Clearing Houses is $1,330.
  • The fee extension of hours for each hour or fraction of it for participants is $830,000.
  • Imposition of charge for ITF processed through contingency mechanisms replaces b.1).
  • Its objective is to cover expenses linked to operation and use of these functionalities.
  • The b.1) charge will be applied if the alternative systems arrange the ITF processing.
  • Notwithstanding the schedules, participants may request hours extension to CHL CB.
  • The approval of the request will always be subject to the exclusive criteria of CHL CB.
  • Effectiveness
  • Circular 3013-956 will be effective as of Jan. 1, 2025.
