On Dec. 6, DTC reported annual continuity, disaster recovery testing.
DTC, NSCC, FICC will conduct business continuity and disaster recovery plans annual test on Oct. 25, 2025 in compliance with its obligations under Reg SCI DR testing.
Annual Testing
Select participants have been designated by FICC/MBSD (based on service usage) to take part in this testing; will be notified by direct email accordingly by Dec. 31, 2024.
Additionally, FICC/MBSD is expanding disaster recovery exercise calendar to accommodate enhanced resilience testing both internally and externally.
Notice provides planned 2025 dates where production schedules will be impacted.
During testing weekends, FICC/MBSD’s systems will be unavailable for processing between the hours of 5:00AM eastern time (ET) Saturday and 12:00PM (ET) Sunday.
Regular processing and access will resume immediately following each exercise.
Designated FICC/MBSD Participants using SMART Network are required to test connectivity between their alternate locations and DTCC data centers at once a year.

Dec. 2024 DTC Testing Dates
On Dec. 16, 2024, DTC NSCC issued testing dates for business continuity/disaster recovery plans, modified insurance & retirement services (I&RS) production plans.
Listed weekends from Jan. to Dec. 2025, noted that I&RS production systems will be unavailable during testing weekends between 5:00AM Saturday and 12:00PM Sunday.
