Feb. 2022 Relaxed Credit Rating
On Feb. 23, 2022, BNG CB amended guidelines on internal credit risk rating system.
Negative effects of pandemic still present in various sectors of the country's economy.
To overcome this situation, BNG CB has announced various incentive packages.
Institutions are facing problems in acquiring new loans or renewing old loans.
To expedite business activities across the country, the rating scores of marginal and unacceptable have been lowered until Jan. 1, 2024 when cir BRPD 14 will apply again.
Jan. 2023 Extension
On Jan. 3, 2024, BNG CB extended the loan facilities for Covid until end of the year.
To provide the necessary loan facilities for the banking sector, the validity period of BNG CB directive no. 07/2022 dated Feb. 23, 2022, is extended to Dec. 31, 2024.
From Jan. 1, 2025, BRPD circular letter no. 12 dated Jun. 20, 2019 (see #63469) shall be reinstated, and the instructions of this circular letter shall be deemed cancelled.
