  • On Feb. 23, 2022, BNG CB amended guidelines on internal credit risk rating system.
  • Negative effects of pandemic still present in various sectors of the country's economy.
  • To overcome this situation, BNG CB has announced various incentive packages.
  • Institutions are facing problems in acquiring new loans or renewing old loans.
  • To expedite business activities across the country, the rating scores of marginal and unacceptable have been lowered until Jan. 1, 2024 when cir BRPD 14 will apply again.
  • Jan. 2023 Extension
  • On Jan. 3, 2024, BNG CB extended the loan facilities for Covid until end of the year.
  • To provide the necessary loan facilities for the banking sector, the validity period of BNG CB directive no. 07/2022 dated Feb. 23, 2022, is extended to Dec. 31, 2024.
  • From Jan. 1, 2025, BRPD circular letter no. 12 dated Jun. 20, 2019 (see #63469) shall be reinstated, and the instructions of this circular letter shall be deemed cancelled.
  • This directive will be effective immediately.
