On Oct. 9, IND SEBI amended listing obligations and requirements.
IND SEBI gazetted the listing obligations and disclosure requirements (LODR) (fifth amendment) regulations, 2023, amending regulation 30 of the 2015 LODR regulations.
Follows IND SEBI Jun. 2023 amended regulations on listing and disclosure, #176134.
Amendments
Minor changes to regulation 30 which concerns disclosure of events or information.
Words With effect from Oct. 1, 2023 appearing after top 100 listed entities are omitted and words With effect from Apr. 1, 2024 appearing after the top 250 listed entities, are substituted by with effect from the date as may be specified by the board.
Effectiveness
The amendment are effective from Oct. 1, 2023.
Dec. 2023 Minor Amendments
On Dec. 21, 2023, IND SEBI published the SEBI (listing obligations and disclosure requirements) (seventh amendment) regulations, 2023, to make minor amendments to the 2015 LODR regs, effective on publication in the official gazette (i.e. Dec. 21).
Replaces the nomenclature of social auditor with social impact assessor, see #183420.

May 2024 Amendment Regulations
On May 17, 2024, IND SEBI published the SEBI (listing obligations and disclosure requirements) (amendment) regulations, 2024 which amend the 2015 LODR regulations.
The regulations take effect partly on May 17 and fully on/from Dec. 31, 2024.
Instead of using the market capitalization of a single day (currently Mar. 31), listed companies will now use the average market capitalization for a six-month period.
Where a listed entity is required to obtain approval of regulatory, government or statutory authorities to fill up vacancies, then the vacancies shall be filled up by the listed entity at the earliest and in any case not later than 6 months from vacancy date.
Other amendments include changing compliance deadlines for certain provisions to Mar. 31, 2025 and various minor wording changes to streamline, clarify regulations.
