The bill clarifies that child performers working in a television, motion picture, or related entertainment can work only a certain amount of hours within a 24-hour period.
Also establishes time requirements for work, rest and recreation, and for education.
A minor cannot work more than eight hours on weekends during the school year.
In addition, minors cannot work over a certain number of hours within a school day.
Employers who violate these time limits will be fined for violating bill requirements,
Bill also requires certain compensation for minors under 16 who work as influencers.
