Overview
Office of the Privacy Commissioner and other cabinet members have been preparing for PIPA implementation, resident townhall meetings to inform of rights under PIPA.
Individuals will know how their data is being used, be able to control collection and use of the information, access the personal data held at an organization, correct errors.
Individuals will be sure that person's information is stored and shared securely.
Effectiveness
PIPA will come into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
