SBA CAL Disaster Loans Available


On Apr. 26, SBA made disaster loans available to CAL businesses.


  • SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to California small businesses to offset losses due to monsoon, rain, flash floods on Sep. 1, 2023.
  • Eligibility
  • EIDLs are available in primary California county of Imperial, also CAL counties of Riverside and San Diego, and neighboring Arizona counties of Yuma and La Paz.
  • Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits of any size may qualify for EIDLs.
  • May qualify for loans of up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met had the disaster not occurred.
  • Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only and not on any actual damage.
  • Deadline
  • Completed EIDL applications must be submitted to SBA by Dec. 24, 2024.
