SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to California small businesses to offset losses due to monsoon, rain, flash floods on Sep. 1, 2023.
Eligibility
EIDLs are available in primary California county of Imperial, also CAL counties of Riverside and San Diego, and neighboring Arizona counties of Yuma and La Paz.
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits of any size may qualify for EIDLs.
May qualify for loans of up to $2 million to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met had the disaster not occurred.
Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only and not on any actual damage.
Deadline
Completed EIDL applications must be submitted to SBA by Dec. 24, 2024.
