On Oct. 23, SLK PRL issued approved travel reimbursement law 409.
SLK PRL published approved text for Law 409of Oct. 23, 2024, which amends Act no. 283/2002 Coll. on travel reimbursements as amended later regulations.
Summary
Amendments are in relation to compensation for the use of motor vehicles on business trips, plus determination of meal allowance amounts and basic compensation.
If conditions for increased meal allowances or basic compensation for use of motor vehicles in Sep. 2024, Oct. 2024, Nov. 2024, section 8 measure will not be issued.
Also covers transitional provisions to adjustments effective Jan. 1, 2025 until start of increased meal allowances for time zones pursuant as per Section 5 (1) of the Act.
Effectiveness
The law will enter into force on Dec. 1, 2024, with the exception of points 1 to 8, plus paragraphs 38i and 38j 9th point, which will enter into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
