On Nov. 25, TAI BLI revised labor insurance tables re minimum wage.
TAI LAB and TAI BLI amended relevant labor insurance grading tables to align with the amendment to the monthly wage to NTD 28,590 as well as the change in hourly wage.
Follows TAI LAB Dec. 2023 said the minimum wage bill passed third reading, #194541.
Amendments
Revise grading table of labor insurance salary, insured salary category chart of occupational accident insurance; grade one monthly salary is revised to NTD 28,590.
Remarks column of the labor insurance salary grade table re the monthly insured salary of trainees in vocational training institutions has been increased to NTD 27,600.
Adjust up the labor insurance (ordinary accident) premium rate from 12% to 12.5%.
After deducting the included employment insurance premium rate of 1%, the premium rate will be adjusted to 11.5%, effective from Jan. 1, 2025.
Effectiveness
The amendments will be effective from Jan. 1, 2025.
