On Aug. 20, BEL GVT amended Decree on SME incentives in Walloon.
BEL GVT published Decree of Apr. 25, 2024, amending various provisions of the Decree of Mar. 11, 2004, on regional incentives in favor of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the Decree of Mar. 11, 2004 on regional incentives in favor of large enterprises regarding investment premiums.
Purpose
Amendments re compliance with the EU State Aid framework; possible combination of incentives with EU funds; alignment with changes in the Code of Economic Law.
Changes re lodging an appeal against a contested decision; designation of the service responsible for processing personal data; definition of personal data categories.
Elements of investment grants; online publication of incentives; impact assessment.
Effectiveness
The Decree enters into force on Jan. 1, 2025.
