Jul. 2024 Notification of Amendment
On Jul. 25, 2024, IND RBI said the UCBs were advised to keep the total of all loans against shares as well as debentures within a limit of 20% of their owned funds.
IND RBI decided limit of 20% shall be linked to the tier-I capital of the bank as of Mar. 31 of previous financial year; the change will be effective from Jan. 1, 2025.
