On Nov. 7, HKEX decommissioned the CCASS phone system service.
HKEX stated that it is planning to decommission the CCASS Phone System service for investor participants (IPs) to access and operate IP accounts on CCASS in Q1 2025.
IPs can continue to access CCASS through the existing CCASS internet system; an Operating guide for investor participants has been provided to assist users.
Clearing participants and custodian participants offer stock segregated account (SSA) with statement service should notify their SSA statement recipients of this change.
