Removed sunset from provisions of Civil Code that require landlord of assisted housing development to offer tenant option of having payments reported to a nationwide CRA.
The bill will permit a landlord, upon the agreement of the tenant, the ability to provide the offer of rent reporting to the tenant by first-class United States mail or email.
Would delete the provisions that require the selection of an independent evaluator to report on impact of rental payment reporting, and delete the Jan. 1, 2025 repeal date.
