SIN LAB Foreign Workforce Policy 2024
On Mar. 4, SIN LAB updated its policies for hiring foreign labor.
- SIN LAB Committee of Supply 2024 announced changes in foreign workforce policy.
- Employment Pass (EP)
- Will increase the EP minimum qualifying salary from SGD 5k to SGD 5.6k per month.
- For the financial services sector, it will be raised from SGD5.5k to SGD 6.2k per month.
- Effectiveness
- Applies to new EP applications from Jan. 1, 2025, and to renewals from Jan. 1, 2026.
