ROM LAB reported gross minimum basic salary per country guaranteed in payment is increased to 4,050 lei monthly starting from Jan. 1, 2025.
Follows ROM LAB Aug. 2024, discussed transposition EU wage directive, see #225366.
Gross Minimum Basic Salary
Increase to 4,050 lei per month, compared to 3,700 lei as it is currently.
Took into account the formula for European minimum wage, which is based on clear and predictable economic indicators, according to Minister Simona Bucura-Oprescu.
The hourly rate will be 24,496 lei/hour for a normal work schedule of 165,334 hours, on average, per month, and rise to 4,050 lei represents an increase of 9.46%.
In terms of absolute value, this means 350 lei in gross amount, and net value, the salary will be 2,575 lei (with deduction of 300 lei), the net increase of about 9%.
