On Jul. 7, FR GVT published order re natural disasters' premium rates.
FR GVT published Ord 7/3/2024 modifying the rate of the premium relating to the guarantee against natural disasters allocated to persons authorized to present insurance transactions mentioned in article A. 125-4 of the Insurance Code (C.ass).
Amendment
In art A. 125-4 of the C.ass, para 1, the rate of 8% is replaced by the rate of 5%.
Effectiveness
The decree comes into force on Jan. 1, 2025; rates apply to additional premiums and contributions due under contracts taking effect or renewed from Jan. 1, 2025.
